Terms

Updated 5 October 2026

These are the terms for using Maivu, made by Proxima Labs LLC in San Diego, California ("we"). By using the app, you agree to them.

What Maivu is

Maivu keeps trips you've already booked. You add your confirmations, and it puts together the trip and shows it to you, even with no signal. It doesn't book anything, sell anything, or compare prices.

It's a beta

Maivu is free while it's in beta. It's still being built, so things will change, some things will break, and we may limit or stop parts of it. A free account holds up to 10 upcoming trips. Past trips don't count.

Check what matters

Maivu reads your confirmations with software, and that software can get things wrong. Anything a confirmation doesn't say, Maivu marks as not stated rather than guessing. Even so, before you travel, check the details that matter with the airline, hotel or company you booked with. Their confirmation is the record. Maivu is not.

Flight status, weather and travel times come from other services. They can be late or wrong.

Your trips are yours

What you add stays yours. You let us store it, process it and show it to you and to the people you share it with, so the app can work. That's all we use it for. Our privacy page says what we keep and who helps us run the app.

Only add things you have the right to add, and only share a trip with people you mean to share it with.

Using it fairly

Don't use Maivu to break the law, to get at other people's trips or accounts, or to overload or attack it. Don't try to get around its limits. We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Your account

Keep access to your email safe, since that's how you sign in. You can delete a trip or your account at any time from the app.

No promises

Maivu is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for missed flights, missed bookings, or other losses that come from using it or not being able to use it. If we are found liable for anything, it's limited to $100.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.

The law

California law governs these terms, and disputes go to the courts of San Diego County, California.
